I am currently working on an epic fantasy series by an American author, Sasheena Kurfman. By day, she is a teacher and asked me if I would read a poem written by one of her geometry students.
Emma Beets was born in Jacksonville, Illinois but currently lives in Oregon. Her favorite hobbies include journaling, reading, writing, and drawing. She's played the cello since she was ten years old and been writing poems since 2019. Her favorite type of poetry is Slam Poetry because of the emotion you can portray through voice and gestures. She hopes to be able to become an author in the future and move somewhere on the Oregon coast.
