QUIZ NIGHT - THE HOB INN

The Hob Inn in Bamber Bridge has now re-opened under new management after an 11-month refurbishment and I am pleased to announce that I will be hosting the Quiz Night.

I originally hosted here between 2001-2006 and the sixteenth century pub with its low-slung ceilings gives a very intimate atmosphere so I am delighted to be back.

Quiz Night is every Thursday at 8.00pm and starts on 29th August 2019.

    hi KEN, you are sadly missed at the HOSPITAL INN, it has steadily gone downhill since you left and is no longer fun, all the best with your new venue and we hope to visit soon, the only problem is the early start.

    Thank you! What a lovely message to hear. I'm sorry to have left The Hospital Inn, I enjoyed it and the people who turned up to the quiz but three bank holidays in six weeks meant that we had a run of lower than average attendances and they hinted that my time was up so I left gracefully.

    It's a shame that things aren't right up there, it's a story I've heard frequently from others in the past few months about every aspect of the pub, but you'd be more than welcome at The Hob. I miss seeing all my regulars from up there, the atmosphere was lovely.
